PROTECTIVE SERVICES FOR ANIMALS - PETS
Through our Pet Haven program, FCAS provides temporary two-week boarding for pets of families leaving situations of domestic violence. We don't ask questions, we don't require advance notice, and we're discreet. We require all animals entering the shelter through these programs be vaccinated if not already up to date and be spayed/neutered if not already altered. If families chose not to spay/neuter their unaltered animal, we offer a courtesy hold of 48-hours to allow pet owners to seek other arrangements. All these services are provided free of charge.
